STEM Urban Perspective is looking to HIRE YOU to serve as an Academic Tutor at one of our various afterschool program sites around Houston for the 2023-2024 academic year! We are looking for EXCITED and DEDICATED Individuals like YOU from any number of academic backgrounds to join our team and help us support the learning journeys of the students we serve in Houston ISD and Aldine ISD schools.

We are grateful to have provided resources to the community through the ministry of Christ Community Worship Center located at 5801 Mary Francis Street Houston, TX District B. Pastor Shepherd and Pastor Summerville welcomed STEM Urban Perspective with immense hospitality allowing the community to receive resources provided the donations from Role Models of America. Donations ranged from house hold items, home decor, clothing, cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, toys, feminine and hygiene products. Young Learners and their parents were also given the opportunity to sign up for our After School Programs that are centered around Rocketry, Robotics, Drones and Engineering design. We are encouraged and excited to continue the partnership with Christ Community Worship Center and those in the District B where our President and Founder Dr. Lakeisha Menifee has established a footprint in education and ministry for 21 years. Our coordinator Shondale Hugh’s worked tirelessly to ensure the community received the optimal level of resources, and Dr. Courtney Jones Lead the site ensure communication to parents was available in English and Spanish. God has truly blessed our efforts on this weekend. And the best is yet to come.
