Music education and the arts are often the first programs to go when schools experience budget cuts, but students miss out on so much more than class time when those programs aren’t offered. Research shows that music promotes overall learning, assists in language development and instills a sense of independence, accomplishment and creativity. Keeping the music alive in our children’s education is essential to our future.
