I can’t believe it’s been a year since the last .coil design contest! I’m grateful to participate again this year with my newest design, “Sparrow Song”

Making the top 10 last year and then my design being licensed was such a pinch me moment in my career as an artist. I literally had to read the email about 7 times for it to really hit 😂 (swipe to see last year’s design!)

What a labor of love this collection was for the “whimsy boy” wallpaper art call hosted by ’s Pattern+ membership for 😍 I had so much fun getting out of my comfort zone for this one!

“Ready, Set, Build” is inspired by my 3 year old son’s excitement and love of construction trucks and race cars. Imagining a world of construction crews building a racetrack, this collection captures the joy, movement and storytelling of my son’s favorite things💛

Cole was so excited the whole time I was working on this collection and he can’t pick a favorite pattern because he “loves all of them”🥹

Introducing Annie’s Table, a vintage cottagecore fabric collection inspired by my grandmother’s lace-draped table cloths, beloved china, and the beauty of family gatherings around the table.

This collection offers a gentle nod to Victorian lace and posies while remaining soft, romantic and timeless✨ I’m pretty in love with how it all came together.

My first ever mural design that I submitted to the Art call through and .johnsondesign 💛

I really didn’t think I’d be able to get this done between a sick toddler and moving to a new city (and getting sick myself) but we did it and I’m so honored I was able to participate.

“Quiet Pasture” is inspired by early mornings on our family’s land, featuring the hay barn my Grandad built by hand at the center, where grazing cattle and drifting clouds stretch across an open, wildflower dusted field. It captures the stillness and nostalgia of a beautiful landscape from my childhood on the farm, and it makes my heart happy every time I look at it😊

My latest design, “With Love, Jerrie”, is inspired my grandad’s stamp and letter collection — he saved stamps from his travels all over the world, as well as postmarked envelopes and letters he and my grandmother exchanged throughout the years he was in the Air Force.

It’s a celebration of discovery, connection, and the simple joy of opening something meaningful. I absolutely loved creating it💛
