Last day in Retalhuleu. Surgeons and translators up at 515 to see our patients- everyone is doing well. 77 surgeries done and lives changed this week. We are grateful!!!

Day 4 of surgery! Last day…we have so much to be grateful for. Kevin our translator has made dozens of new friends and our patients inspire us with their gratitude! We are very blessed indeed!

Day 3 of surgery. It’s easier to get up early when breakfast is so good! And the coffee is the best anywhere. We are fed and cared for so well. Thank you to everyone who keeps us fed and happy!

Busy day in the OR! The team got up early for devotionals then knocked out 17 cases. Juan keeps the urology team on track while Dania scrubs the schedule for efficiency. Amazing team!!!

It’s a beautiful morning in Retalhuleu Guatemala for our first day of surgery! The peacocks are up early too. There are 16 surgeries scheduled and we are eager to serve and love on our Guatemalan brothers and sisters 💕

A very successful day of clinic and OR, pharmacy and PACU set up. This team is so awesome we finished early and have time for a nap or swim or refreshment back at the hotel!

Good morning from Guatemala City! The team is assembling for breakfast before we make the 3-4hr drive to Retalhuleu. It’s only 73mi but we have to go around volcanos and ravines so it takes a bit. FWIW nothing beats Guatemala coffee!
