Retrasar su inscripción en la Parte B de Medicare podría costarle más de lo esperado.
En la mayoría de los casos, su prima mensual puede aumentar un 10% por cada período completo de 12 meses en el que pudo haberse inscrito, pero no lo hizo. Esta multa puede durar mientras tenga la Parte B.

A Medicare enrollment delay could cost more than you expect.
In most cases, your Part B premium may increase by 10% for every full 12-month period you were eligible but didn’t enroll-and that penalty may last as long as you have Part B.
There is an important exception: you may be able to delay Part B without a penalty if you or your spouse is still working and your group health coverage is based on that current employment.
COBRA, retiree coverage and Part D drug coverage generally don’t protect you from the Part B penalty.
Employer size and enrollment timing also matter.
Before delaying Part B, confirm your situation with Medicare and your employer’s benefits administrator.
