One of my favorite parts of vacation is the uninterrupted family time and the chance to simply enjoy quality time with my husband.

This may be a style page, but the reality is that personal style is filtered through your sense of self.

Life, and the constant noise of the world, can pull you away from your center. It can be difficult to stay connected to who you are when the tides of culture and opinion are constantly ebbing and flowing through your everyday life.

Having the opportunity to disconnect from the world and reconnect with the people who form the foundation of your sense of self brings you back to center. From that place, inspiration has a way of finding you again. 💕

The summer heat and endless rain has me feeling like I live in the tropics.

We attended the loveliest wedding this weekend for a wonderful couple. I could not be more excited for them in starting their own journey of marriage.

This year is our own 10th yearsof marriage, and while we didn't get the perfect picture of us dressed up at this wedding these pictures are still perfect.

It's a reminder to me that in marriage, things aren't always perfect. There are plenty of storms and tough times along with the good. The magic comes in choosing to laugh, love, and play. Learning to not take things too seriously and continuing to choose each other every single day. 💕

The queen of the jonquils walks alone,
pulled toward a fate of solemn darkness.
