Little Changes, Big Difference
Going out with girlfriends tonight?
Choose a spot with healthy options.
Meeting a friend for coffee?
Add something with protein instead of just caffeine.
Running errands all afternoon?
Bring a snack so you’re not starving by dinner.
Little changes.
Better choices.
Big difference over time.
Because healthy living isn’t built in one perfect day.
It’s built in everyday moments — the restaurant you pick, the snack you choose, the meal you don’t skip.
And women who build well know that small, wise choices add up.
Strength for the Weary
📖 Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
God understands fatigue.
He invites the weary.
Today we pause and pray for:
Renewed strength.
Clear thinking on what to drop.
How to balance our various responsibilities.
📚 As we continue reading Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy, let’s ask, “Lord, where can I make significant changes in my food to revitalize my life and that of my family?”
Pause.
Pray.
Receive rest.

Encourage the Woman Who Is Tired
Many women carry more than we see.
Work responsibilities.
Family responsibilities.
Mental load.
Physical exhaustion.
Sometimes the most powerful encouragement is simply being seen.
Today for Wednesday Friendsday, send a message to a woman you appreciate:
“I see how much you carry. This too shall pass.”
Encouragement can restore energy in ways we don’t expect.
Why Women Feel Exhausted
Many women today are tired.
Not the kind of tired that sleep alone fixes.
The kind of tired that shows up as:
• brain fog
• afternoon crashes
• constant cravings
• low motivation
• irritability
And often women, we blame themselves.
“I should have more discipline.”
“I need more willpower.”
“I just need to try harder.”
But often the issue is not discipline.
It is biology.
Hormones influence:
Energy
Mood
Metabolism
Cravings
Sleep
And hormones are affected by what we eat.
Skipping meals.
Too much sugar.
Not enough protein.
Constant stress.
All of these influence how our bodies function.
Back to the basics:
Food is not just calories.
Food is information for the body.
📚 As we continue reading Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy, we are learning that nourishing the body well supports the hormones that sustain our energy.
Because women who build well need energy that lasts.
We are excited about March 26. For women struggling with food and hormones, join us at Stomping Grounds at Garden Oaks, as we discuss food, healthy eating for women, women's fluctuating hormones, women's health and embracing our unique selves as faithful stewards.

The Networking Event Plate
You arrive at the networking event.
You planned to eat healthy.
Then you see the table:
Mini cupcakes
Spinach dip
Cheese cubes
Crackers
Chocolate something
Suddenly you're holding a plate that looks like a buffet strategy meeting.
Welcome to real life nutrition.
Healthy living doesn’t happen in perfect environments.
It happens in break rooms.
At networking events.
Between meetings.
At the kids’ dinner table.
So the question isn’t:
“Will I always eat perfectly?”
The question is:
“Will I choose fuel more often than fillers?”
Because women who build well need energy that lasts.

Wisdom for Daily Choices
📖 James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.”
Healthy living is not about rigid rules.
It is about wisdom.
Wisdom in what we eat.
Wisdom in how we care for our bodies.
Wisdom in how we steward what God has given us.
So today we pause and pray. For wisdom with choices, wisdom in rising grocery bills, for discipline to choose right – to fuel our dreams, our families and our future.
📚 As we continue reading Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy, we are learning that caring for our bodies is not vanity — it is stewardship.
