Every year, Pantone selects their as a symbol of what we’ve collectively lived through and what the upcoming year is supposed to bring ☂️ For the first time ever, Pantone has created a new shade for the occasion, a bold and vibrant blue-violet called Very Peri.

This transformative shade symbolizes the transformative time we’re living in- emerging from isolation and moving forward into an ever shifting future- and bringing us courage and joy as we step into 2022 this weekend.

Here at shopHMNS, we’ve gathered scarves, minerals, jewelry, books, kitchen goods, and a butterfly that land in the realm of Very Peri to help you start 2022 off right 💜

It’s Christmas Eve, meaning Newton’s going back to the North Pole tonight. All month long he’s been writing postcards to Santa and his friends around the world, telling them how lucky he is to have gotten to hangout with his new friends at the Houston Museum of Natural Science this month. We’ll miss him and the shenanigans he got himself (and us) into, but we have so many memories with him to keep close until we see him again next year!

Snacks will be plenty in two more days, grab some Dinosaur Bag Clips to keep things fresh, and to prevent any midnight snackers

Check in everyday until December 24th to see what new treat we have in our advent calendar and online: https://museumstore.hmns.org/catalogsearch/result/?cat=312&q=clip

Giddy up, dino! Newton’s gone full Texan after spending a few weeks in our store, and he’s got a T. rex On a Stick to match. Yee-haw!
