Texas Sled Dog Rescue

Texas Sled Dog Rescue focuses on giving Alaskan Malamutes & Siberian Huskies a second chance.

While in rescue, we will place them in foster homes, provide basic training as needed, and vetting which includes updated vaccinations, spay or neuter and micro-chip. Our volunteers are involved in all facets of rescue including but not limited to fundraising, transporting, evaluating dogs, representing the rescue at local dog events, fostering, etc.

TSDRs Salt “is very smart and obedient. He loves playing with squeaky toys, cuddling with his baby (lamb chop) and chewing on dog bones. He amuses himself frequently in addition to playing with others. Such a sweetie!”

TSDRs Louise continues to do well at boarding but we would love to get her into a foster home or better yet, a fur-ever home!! She needs structure, calm family and she can still be shy of new humans til she gets settled in so patience will be needed but will be worth it.
