Love printing with woodblock text at Red Bird Press!

I have so much fun every time I go to Red Bird press! I’ve started a series of woodblock prints featuring Cherokee words. It’s a fun way for me to learn and share the language.

Setting type by hand and helping other classmates learn to capture the spirit of “GADUGI” which means “working together” in the Cherokee language. Can’t wait to go back with another word to print later this month.
