During our tour and barrel pick at Buffalo Trace Distillery, we had the wonderful pleasure of running into two members of the Van Winkle family in historic Warehouse C, Julian P Van Winkle III and Preston Van Winkle. Together they are still making some incredible very limited release wheated bourbons that you can actually still find at the bar from the 10 year Old Rip Van Winkle all the way up to the famous 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle. Many thanks to for a wonderful day picking our new single barrel.
