Compass reported its third quarter 2024 earnings results today, showcasing strong outperformance compared to the broader residential real estate market. We are deeply thankful for our 33,000+ agents and 2,500 employees across the country whose dedication helped Compass grow 18% faster than the market, with agents closing 55,872 transactions—a 16.1% year-over-year increase—while the market declined by 1.9%. Thanks to their efforts, Compass also grew Adjusted EBITDA significantly year-over-year and was free cash flow positive for Q3, marking the third consecutive quarter and five of the last six quarters achieving positive free cash flow. These results underscore the clear momentum we’ve built and the dedication demonstrated by our agent and employee community. Despite persistent market challenges, we are looking forward to ending 2024 on a high note.
