A little update about the Community Center 🏗️

We would like to thank all of our amazing contractors, project managers, and our President and Founder Bibi Khan who have been essential in making sure this space is perfect for our community! 😁

A teacher’s impact can reach far beyond the classroom.

Recently, An-Nisa Founder & President Bibi Khan had the opportunity to lead a session during a teacher training focused on the importance of creating an environment where every student feels seen, heard, valued, and supported.

For a child, having even one trusted adult who takes the time to listen, encourage, and create a sense of belonging can leave an impact that lasts well beyond their school years.

The session encouraged educators to recognize the powerful role they play not only in a student’s education, but also in shaping their confidence, sense of self, and connection to the world around them.

A special thank you to the organizers for putting together such an impactful event and for giving An-Nisa the opportunity to be part of this important conversation. We’re grateful for opportunities like these to invest in the people who invest in our children every day 🩵

A new school year, and a whole lot of community love. This past Saturday, we had our annual back-to-school drive. We are so grateful to have had three amazing organizations help make our drive a huge success 🎒🏫

A special thank you to Ayana Khatri and The Musaaid Project for creating 250 backpacks for students in need, as well as Texas Advocacy Project for donating 80 backpacks filled with tons of school supplies, and Who Is Hussain Houston for putting together 250 hygiene kits for the families 💙

Because of their generosity and care for the community, these students will have a wonderful school year. We are incredibly thankful for each organization that joined us in making this drive possible. To our An-Nisa community, thank you for always showing up for the community and supporting our mission. Together, everyone can make a change for these students and their families. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

Finding the right therapist is not just about credentials; it’s about connection.

Feeling safe, understood, and supported can make a meaningful difference in your therapy experience. Finding the right fit may also mean working with someone who understands the experiences that shape you, your culture, faith, family dynamics, life experiences, and personal goals.

At An-Nisa, our diverse team of therapists brings a range of backgrounds, specialties, and therapeutic approaches, allowing us to provide care that is responsive to each individual’s unique needs.

Finding support starts with finding the right fit. We’re here to help you take that first step.
