Hal Youens

R. Hal Youens is a contemporary artist specializing in abstract paintings, shapes, simplicity, color Robert Hal Youens was born in a small town in central Texas.

His mother, Judy Youens, was a dress shop owner and an aspiring artist. Hal began to paint with his mother at the age of three. In 1979, at the age of 9, his family moved to Houston Texas. His mother opened up Perceptions Art Gallery in the early 1980’s. The galleries name was later changed to Judy Youens Gallery.
