This Black History Month, we’re spotlighting the groundbreaking work of the first licensed Black architect in Texas, John S. Chase, and celebrating the lasting impact of his contributions to our industry. Take a look at some of his work in Houston.

Flex-Erect is proud to announce that we are a sponsor for this year’s CIEF: Construction Industry Education Foundation Design Build Competition in Houston that starts on Wednesday, March 25! This competition allows high school students to try their hand at designing, planning, and constructing a small building that will be used in the community. Through sponsorships and grants, teams compete at no cost to any student or school.

Today, we pause to recognize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the role he played in shaping a more just future. Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the change his leadership helped bring, and the work that continues.

This year brought incredible growth, meaningful relationships, unbelievable opportunities, and achieved milestones that once felt out of reach. We completed several large, complex projects, expanded into new markets, and strengthened partnerships with both new and long-standing clients. Along the way, we faced challenges, but we continued forward with purpose, resilience, and a commitment to our values.

We were blessed with strong momentum in 2025, including more than $30 million in sales, record levels of work in place and backlog, and exciting opportunities ahead. These milestones represent far more than numbers; they reflect trust from our customers, dedication from our team, and a shared commitment to doing our work with excellence.

As we look toward 2026, we’re excited to share another milestone. Flex-Erect will be moving into a new office in the first quarter of 2026. This new space represents growth, opportunity, and our continued investment in the future of our team and our company.

We believe there is a plan for this company, and by staying true to our values, doing the work set before us, and trusting God with the rest, we’re confident the future is bright.

We had a great night celebrating the season with the Flex-Erect team 🎄🌮 Amazing food from , fun raffles, and plenty of laughs during our white elephant exchange. We are so grateful for our crew and the memories we made together this year! Merry Christmas!

Community is vital. This weekend, our Flex-Erect team came together to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank, where we helped sort and pack meals for families in need. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and support an organization making such a meaningful impact across Houston.

We are honored to announce that Flex-Erect has been selected to receive the Excellence in Construction Award from Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston for the Texas A&M University Law and Education building! We are so grateful to everyone who made this project happen.
