If the Hyde Amendment is repealed, every American will become involved in abortions through the use of our tax dollars. For those of us who believe every life is precious no matter the circumstances, the consequences are dire. Taxpayer money may be used for things various Americans disagree with all the time, but decades of bipartisan support for the Hyde Amendment reveal that questions of ending a vulnerable human life are something different altogether.

Abortion always has a cost. It costs a mother her child, her child its life, and society the basic understanding of what it means to be human.

You can help save a life...simply by praying, peacefully, at Planned Parenthood. We've seen miracles! We are there to love, never to judge. The Blue Bus Pregnancy Center, parked across the street, has free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, counseling and lots of help for moms.

St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church had a satellite walk at our church campus benefiting the Houston Coalition for Life on June 13, 2020. We raised over $16,000. Thanks to all who participated by walking, volunteering to help, and donating. The walk is an Archdiocesan supported event. HCL runs three crisis pregnancy centers in Houston. Since opening in early 2011, they’ve had over 13,000 visits to the Big Blue Bus Pregnancy Center. Of the expectant mothers, more than 92% chose life and continued their pregnancies to full term.
