On Saturday June 4th, 2023, IEDA Relief volunteered with The Empty Shelter Project who hosted a free spay/neuter & microchipping event for pets in the underserved neighborhood of Alief in the greater Harris County area. The IEDA team served meals to the volunteers and medical staff who administered those services to the pets. The IEDA Relief Team sends a big thank you to Ms. Azeb Yusuf for giving us the opportunity to take part in this amazing event!

Our team in Burkina Faso in full humanitarian action, with the aim of offering and promoting reproductive health services. The action plan is based on family planning and GBV (Gender-Based Violence) that is experienced in the following regions; Center-North, Center East, and Sahel during the year 2023.

In 2023, IEDA Relief has been working in programs such as the Dignity Kit distribution in Niger, Mali and other areas in which the organization operates. IEDA Relief is striving to alleviate gender-related disparities in communities of need with the assurance in mind that when girls and women are empowered, the entire community reaps the rewards.

The after effect of the Volcano eruption is more than what people thought would be. Response team has been on the ground working with local authorities and churches to assist those affected by the Volcano.
More than 30 people have lost their lives, thousand displaced with no shelter, food, water or place to sleep.
