It was a blessing to help bring this event together.

My client, my barber, and one of my closest friends .munz has grown through the mentorship he gained at Brass , and along the way became a genuine friend to me as well.

So being able to step in, do what I love, and help bring this grand opening to life just felt right.
Seeing Brass open their second location is a full circle moment.

Thank you to all the vendors and everyone who came out to support.

Brass 018 is officially open. If you’re in Houston, go experience it. It’s more than a haircut, it’s real service, real energy, and intention. Complimentary whiskey included.

Follow on all platforms.

As I step into 27, I’m closing the chapter on 26 with reflection.

This past year started heavy. I carried baggage that wasn’t mine to keep, weight I should’ve put down sooner.

I experienced loss in many forms. Loved ones. Relationships. Business. Corporate. etc. But the loss that sat with me the most was the quiet shedding of my old self and the work of learning who this new version is becoming.

I had long conversations with my tribe, people a few steps ahead of me, asking what life starts to feel like as you get closer to 30. The answer never changed. You stop caring in the ways that don’t serve you. You learn to play the hand you’re dealt without apology. As long as it sits right with you morally and spiritually, that’s all that matters.

They all said the hardest part was the transition. Ego is a mf. Because if you never let go of who you were, you never give who you’re becoming a chance to live. Just because you used to move a certain way doesn’t mean you’re meant to keep moving like that. Growth demands release. It asks you to put ego down and step fully into what’s for you.

So I leave 26 with grace. Grounded in who I am at the core. Trusting myself and the positions and people God placed in my life.

Thank you to the ones who listened without pity, without coddling. You watered me, whether it was personal or business. To my support, thank you for trusting me and investing in me.

And the reminder I carry forward is simple. God wouldn’t place it in your path if it wasn’t meant for you. You know what you’re doing. It may not look like it yet, but you will win.

And if you’re destined to break down walls and step into rooms not built for you, be ready to step on glass along the way.

Keep dreaming.
Keep chasing.
Stay sane.
Stay gangster.
With intention.
