Inspire Movement!

While creating this brand I always tried to include a narrative with every design I make. For the longest I wasn't sure what KAVES would stand for, what does it mean? Gaining inspiration from the original koi fish story I decided to create my own version to fill my vision of KAVES. I hope you enjoy this short story and get inspired to move forward!

This Kaves logo shirt is a top pick for me. Part of the inspiration was taken from .de.menezes Holo Collection, definitely check him out. An amazing designer from Brazil. I’ve been wanting to use a nice gradient and this color felt just right. The colors remind me of a summer sunset.

Creating this was a bit conflicting. Inspiration was taken from the Netflix documentary “Take Your Pills” which is about adderall use in colleges. It made me think about the lengths we’re willing to take to reach our success and obtain our dreams. I wanted to play with the wording and use “Don’t take your pills” because you don’t have to take what everyone’s gives you or the social norms. What works for one doesn’t always work for another. We have figure out what we want and need for ourselves.
