Investing in the future of design is critical to keeping the A/E industry moving forward. Our team was proud to connect with the next generation of architects and designers at the University of Houston’s Meet the Firm event!

This career-focused event gave students the opportunity to introduce themselves, explore potential internship and employment opportunities, and learn what firms look for in future design professionals. Our team—Lauri Goodman Lampson, Garth Williams, Gregory Kennedy, Allison Rivera, and Andres Gutierrez—enjoyed meeting passionate students and discussing how they can launch their careers in architecture and design.

That was a ringing theme of the 2025 Economic Forecast Luncheon & Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation, hosted by CoreNet Houston Chapter at the The Junior League of Houston, Inc.

The event featured Patrick Jankowski, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the Greater Houston Partnership who provided an in-depth analysis of local, regional, and U.S. economic trends.

The luncheon also honored Maggie Hatfield - Hartley, Vice President Real Estate Services | Halliburton with the Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating her significant contributions to real estate.

We were inspired by the professional insight and commentary from various organizations in attendance. Overall, we feel motivated to design for people and planet this year.
