Block Companies team members Chris, Sidney, and Jeyson recently attended the Construction Science Career Fair at the Texas A&M College of Architecture, where students had the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, learn about career opportunities, and explore potential internships and future employment.

One of those students was Parker (pictured with the team), who will graduate from Texas A&M in December and join the Block Companies team in February as a Project Engineer. We’re excited to have him coming on board! 🎉

We’re making great progress at Renaissance Heights in Fort Worth, Texas! 🎉

The Block Companies team recently turned over the first building at this 100-unit affordable housing community, bringing it one step closer to welcoming residents as pre-leasing gets underway. 🏘️

Developed in partnership with Fort Worth Housing Solutions as part of the broader Renaissance redevelopment initiative, Renaissance Heights will provide modern, energy-efficient apartment homes designed with long-term affordability and residents in mind.

A big thank you to our team and crew at Renaissance Heights for the hard work that has gone into reaching this milestone. 👏 We’re proud of the progress being made and look forward to seeing the project continue to come together.

Congratulations to our One Westside team in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on being named Block Companies’ Q2 Safety Site of the Quarter! 🏆

The One Westside crew has done a great job making safety part of the way they work every day. From proper fall protection and tie-off practices to keeping walkways clear, securing equipment, barricading hazardous areas, and safely handling tools, the team continues to maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

A safe jobsite takes everyone doing their part and looking out for one another, and this crew continues to lead by example. 🦺

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation. ❤️

We remember the lives lost and honor the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who showed incredible courage and selflessness that day.
