Is the LED lighting label confusing?
Lumen: is the intensity to which something is illuminated. How much light gets to what you need illuminated? Illuminance is actually measured in footcandles. Is 800 Lumens enough to read by? Well it is! You need 60 fc for an older person to easily read. So the "old" (60W-A Lamp) equivalent is the (LED 9 - 9.5 W) at 800 Lumens, will do it!

The color of an object will change over a 24 hour period in a room.
The way we see color depends on two things:
1. The light that an object absorbs. (Black absorbs all colors, white absorbs none, blue absorbs red.)
2. How the light source works. Natural light (sunlight) changes throughout the day and is affected by a room's location. Artificial light changes with the type of bulb you use... (ie. all those different types of LED bulbs vs. outdated incandescent bulbs)
