An announcement from Beau York, Founder and EP of Podastery

"Podastery was founded in 2013 with a simple mission of finding people with stories to tell and giving them a platform to do so.

In 2015 we opened up our flagship studio in the Tucker Printing House building in downtown Jackson, MS. Since that time we've been able to witness and in many instances chronicle the advancement of Jackson's entrepreneurial and creative community.

My family has been offered an opportunity outside of our home city and state that after a lot of prayer and consideration, we've decided to accept. While we are excited for the opportunities that lay ahead of us, we are announcing today that the Jackson studio will also be closing its doors to follow suit.

The Podastery team has always been spread across the country and we have been honored to have worked with clients from New York, Florida, California, DC, and beyond. The reality is that the majority of our work now happens outside of the state and though the Jackson studio will be closing its doors, Podastery continues on strong, with several projects both ongoing and yet to be announced.

Jackson and Mississippi will always be my home, my origin story, and my family. No matter where I am, no matter what I do, I hope to make those of you here in the Capitol city proud.

Thank you so much for listening."

-- Beau York Founder and Executive Producer

TL:DR - The Jackson studio is closing its doors, but Podastery content and services will continue.
