Last week, we announced that Easter Seals of Greater Houston’s BridgingApps Program (Texas) was selected as a recipient of an AI Glasses Impact Grant from Meta. BridgingApps' Ale Gonzalez attended the three-day celebration and community summit in New York City, where participants took part in technical workshops, explored transformative use cases, and collaborated on planning for the future.
We're excited to begin this project and look forward to exploring how AI glasses can expand accessibility and create new opportunities for the communities we serve.

We are proud to celebrate Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity’s Early Learning Quality Network, which received a 2026 Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties in the Children and Youth category.
As an ELQN partner, BridgingApps, a program of Easter Seals of Greater Houston, has supported this community-driven work by implementing the Technology for Households initiative, equipping families with digital tools, technology training, and accessible app recommendations that support early learning and school readiness in Harris County's focal communities.
Since launching in October 2023, Children at Risk has impacted more than 13,000 children and engaged over 2,000 caregivers across Harris County. We are grateful to be part of an initiative earning national recognition for its investment in young children, families, and early learning environments.
Congratulations to Harris County and every partner who helped make this achievement possible!
