Bring your mom to church this Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day! Most moms value quality time with their kids (of all ages) so start the day off by worshipping together, reading the Word, singing songs, and praying together.

All are welcome to come to Hope Church at 7:30 pm tonight (Good Friday) and hear the story of God's great love. “Tenebrae” means “darkness.” Such a definition is suitable for this service, which centers around the increasing darkness of the church as lights are extinguished.

During a Tenebrae service, believers are gradually immersed into a physical setting of darkness, allowing us to reflect on Jesus’ suffering, the darkness that covered the land at His crucifixion, His separation from the Father, and the seriousness of our sin.

The darkness not only provides an atmosphere of reflection on Christ’s death but also symbolizes the darkness that Jesus experienced as He hung on the cross.
