90% of construction companies are having trouble finding workers. High paying jobs no one wants. By the way 49% of construction jobs are currently occupied by Hispanics.
High-paying jobs that don't need a college degree? Thousands of them sit empty Trade jobs that require less education, at much lower cost, sit empty. But many parents remain wary of programs that don't lead to a four-year degree.
Country first party second.
If Trump was the democrat (He used to be)
I would be running as fast as humanly possible to embrace my republican friends.

Project 2025 will hurt almost everyone. But it seems to me that the ones that will hurt the most are the ones that require constitutional protection, like the disabled, LGBTQIA, children in public education and women.
Project 2025 and the Threat to Disabled People Project 2025 is a blueprint for a conservative overhaul of the United States government. It offers a frightening, dystopian vision of an America where people are deprived of rights, benefits, and values we have grown accustomed to. And it's on track to become a reality if Donald Trump is elected pre

The Motion of Waves is Converted Into Electric Power by a Spine-Like Floating Generator - Hasan Jasim The world is rapidly transitioning from traditional energy sources to renewable ones, and for good reason. The effects of climate change have become increasingly apparent, and it is now clear that a switch to renewable energy is not just beneficial, but necessary. Among renewable energy sources, wav...

I have been driving an electric vehicle for almost a year.
I own a Nissan Leaf 2020. It is cheaper to own and operate. I pay 4 dollars for a full charge when I use the slow J1772 charger or 8 dollars when I use the CHAdeMO charger. The CHAdeMO charger is very hard to find.
My range is fairly short. I can only go for 148 miles on a full charge. However it really depends on how I drive. If I am steady and remain at 50 to 60 mph, I can go a lot further. The use of air conditioning also plays a significant role on how fast my charge depletes.
The charging stations are coming along, but we need a higher number of stations. The article below touches on the challenges and benefits of setting up a charging station.
How to Set Up a Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station Yes, you too could own your own 'filling station'. We talked to someone who does.

Mycelium is the equivalent of roots in fungi.
Networks of mycelium are known to have covered as much as two and a half miles. Since all cells are composed of molecules containing carbon, and mycelium is found underground, mycelium is considered a carbon sink. There are many other benefits to understanding fungi such as digesting plastics in landfills and filtering water.
We should consider understanding how to form mycelium networks everywhere, in every yard. Every inch of green space could have an underground mycelium network. Can we do this with soil amendments? Could we add fungal amendments to our fertilizers? It seems simple enough to mow the mushrooms if we do not want them. The mycelium networks would remain.
11 Ways Fungi Could Save The Planet From clearing up oil spills to growing buildings, mushrooms might hold the answer to many of the world’s biggest issues

A colleague and I were discussing how p*e used to be collected in the past. I learned that people used to collect p*e in bedpans and would then use it as fertilizer. There were p*e collection businesses that would pay for your urine and sell it as fertilizer. Today a company called Toopi is reintroducing the business. Urine contains nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium and can turn into ammonia. Plants can take up ammonia and nitrates. Urine is a natural fertilizer. Pretreatment is required to treat for pathogens.
Collecting the resource could offset emissions as making fertilizer currently produces 1.4% of the global emissions. Fertilizers are often overused leading to algae blooms that result in oxygen depletion from our waterways, leading to hypoxia and killing aquatic life. Water bodies then become carbon sources as living organisms die and decay. Although Nitrogen makes up 78% of the atmosphere, adding more nitrogen to the atmosphere is extremely impactful to our temperatures as it forms nitrous oxide, a greenhouse gas. According to the UN, nitrous oxides are 300 times worse than carbon.
Yes wee can: study gives green light to use urine as crop fertiliser Researchers say stored urine from humans is not likely to spread antibiotic resistance

Scientist have counted 5100 meters of bacteria per cubic meter of air.
The air we breath is alive with unicellular prokaryotes. We breathe in all kinds of characters and do not drop dead from bacterial infections. These fact is fascinating but perhaps more importantly it is useful.
Earth’s cheapest and best sun block could be made from living organisms like bacteria. Their presence in larger densities could keep us cooler is we only consider expanding the benign domain of the benign bacteria that live in the air.
There are so much we do not really know about bacteria and even less about viruses. The only viruses and bacteria we research and get acquainted with are the ones that harm us! But what about the ones that could save us? There are probably millions of possibilities up in the air.
Living Bacteria Are Riding Earth's Air Currents The high-flying microbes can travel across the globe, spreading disease or even changing climates

There appears to be a lot of choice available to drink manufactures as to the type of containers they can use to sell their products. Unfortunately the freedom of choice available to the manufacturer has resulted in an unsurmountable challenge to the recycling industry.
We need to consider standardizing on the container materials.
Consumers should also be made aware that aluminum and glass are more sustainable choices so that we can make better choices and influence the industry with our dollars. Choose aluminum when you can. The recycling industry can actually make money from aluminum. Learn more about disposable drink containers below.
Plastic Bottle Vs. Aluminum Can When it comes to beverage storage containers, people can buy either a plastic bottle or an aluminum can. These options may seem similar on the surface--both hold liquids, after all. Yet major differences between the aluminum can and the plastic bottle can affect the health of both people and the env...
