The U.S. created nearly half of the world’s new millionaires in 2025.
It’s an impressive headline, but it also raises an important question:
How is wealth actually created?
While income certainly matters, long-term wealth is often built through ownership of appreciating assets. That includes businesses, equities, and, in many cases, real estate.
As someone working in Houston real estate, I believe one of the biggest misconceptions is that simply buying a home guarantees financial success. It doesn’t.
Every investment should be evaluated based on its fundamentals: purchase price, financing, location, cash flow potential, and long-term objectives.
Financial success rarely comes from chasing headlines.
It usually comes from making disciplined decisions consistently over time.
What asset class do you believe offers the greatest long-term opportunity over the next decade?

🏡 Imagine owning a home… and paying NO property taxes.
Across the U.S., several states are starting to push proposals to cut or even eliminate property taxes.
📍 Texas lawmakers are looking at ways to reduce property taxes using state budget surpluses.
📍 Indiana has even discussed plans to eliminate property taxes entirely by 2027.
The challenge? Property taxes currently fund schools, police, fire departments, and local services, so if they disappear, that revenue has to come from somewhere else.
For real estate investors, this could dramatically change how property returns are calculated.
Especially in Texas, where property taxes are among the highest in the country.
❓ Do you think Texas should eliminate or reduce property taxes?
