Today, on National Buffalo Soldiers Day, we’re proud to celebrate one of Midtown’s cultural treasures: the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum (BSNM).

Located in the heart of our community, BSNM preserves and shares the remarkable stories of the Buffalo Soldiers: African American service members whose courage, leadership, and dedication helped shape our nation’s history. Through exhibitions, education, and community engagement, the Museum ensures these important stories continue to inspire new generations.

We’re grateful to have this important institution in Midtown, helping keep history alive and reminding us that a stronger community begins with understanding our shared past. The Museum is currently undergoing renovations, but we excitedly await the day when its doors reopen.

Join us today in honoring the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers and celebrating organizations like BSNM that make history accessible to everyone.
