From setting up to monitoring the contest holes, volunteers are greatly needed to ensure that Golf with H.E.A.R.T. will run smoothly! Shifts are from 9:30-1:30 and 1:00-5:00 on October 21st.

H.E.A.R.T. trainees have been mastering cooking skills and serving each other a healthy breakfast everyday at our own little restaurant! Huge thanks to St. Paul's Houston for making our cooking class a reality!

This year for National Disability Employment Awareness Month, H.E.A.R.T. is hosting a special event on our campus in collaboration with D. Reed Coaching, Consulting & Advocacy and the American Association of People with Disabilities.

H.E.A.R.T. trainees had a great time serving lunch at the City of Houston CMC Kickoff and Agency Fair with City of Houston Careers. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to showcase our trainees’ skills and commitment to service!

The annual Happy Hour & Silent Auction for The HEART Program this week was a great opportunity to connect with community members in support of employment opportunities for disabled persons.

We are so glad Dr. Reed was able to attend and even walked away with some nice swag!

Join us at our upcoming National Disability Employment Awareness Month ( ) Disability Mentoring Day at The H.E.A.R.T. Program on Friday, October 23rd from 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM.
