MEET OUR TEAM

Today we are highlighting one of our Project Managers, Taylour Burton. Taylour has been with GraphTec since November 2020 and has been a wonderful addition to the organization. When she isn’t at work, Taylour enjoys playing tennis, intramural sports, and exploring Houston. Be sure to check out these pictures for some of the projects she has managed thus far!

For this week’s Friday Feature, we look back fondly on the award winning work we completed for the One Hermann Apartments in Midtown. Awarded 1st place in 2019 by TSA, this monument sign was constructed out of Sensitile acrylic with illuminated LED’s and stainless steel cladding. Additional exterior and interior signage throughout the project include a variety of other custom acrylic pieces. All signage was fabricated by our in-house craftsman right here in Houston and managed by Graphtec’s Jesse Jones. Special thanks to our partners on this project:

We are pleased to be partnered with Principle | Design & Branding to complete the signage for Treadwell at their new location at the MKT complex in the Heights. This exciting new shopping and eating area is sure to become a hotspot in the City of Houston and we are proud to help provide Treadwell the presence to stand out of the crowd. Stay tuned for more to come at this location!

Texas Governor Greg Abbott addressed Texans yesterday regarding the state's COVID response. During the presentation, Gov Abbott was positioned in front of a custom sign manufactured by GraphTec and is used as the centerpiece of the room. The artwork along the wall was also created by GraphTec. We are proud to be able to create pieces like this for our clients.

Our contribution of precision cut acrylic, laminated dichroic Solyx film, and hand fabricated hardware helped to produce such awe-inspiring results. GraphTec Inc. is proud to have worked with METALAB on their “Perpetual Flux” Project for the Allen Events Center, found in Dallas, Texas.

River Oaks Baptist School Project Update: We had the honor of manufacturing and installing the new donor package for River Oaks Baptist School. This project highlights GraphTec's capabilities with many types of custom signage.

Green Tree Country Club Update:

Midland, TX: So glad we got to work on another wonderful Kirksey Architecture design. In spite of the hot conditions, our crews were diligent and made sure the install went off without a hitch. Thanks to the guys in the GraphTec Welding Department for pulling off another gorgeous monument.

Gulf Coast Growth Ventures Update:

San Patricio County – We are in full swing with both the interior and exterior portions of the sign package. This is another great collaboration with Harvey Builders and Gensler, and our team is doing a fantastic job of bringing their vision to reality. We still have a ways to go and will enjoy watching the finished products come together.

Such a fantastic project to be involved in! It was great working with FMG Design, Inc.. This sign shows that sometimes sign making converges with making Art.

We are excited to announce that FMG Design was awarded 1st place in @TSA 2020 Design Contest for our collaborative work with @genslerhouston, @graphtecincsigns and @landrys_inc The Post Oak!
