Join our graphics leads and learn about the portfolio making process! We will go over the basics, and then show some example portfolios and resources to make them. Additionally, if you have a portfolio you’d like to be reviewed or specific questions regarding your own portfolio, the leads can help with that as well! 👩🏻‍💻

🌸 Get hyped! We’re introducing a new monthly Graphic Design Challenge! 🌸

Every month we will post a theme and every sunday a new prompt for the theme will be released. You’ll share your design for every prompt by the end of the week to our Rice design discord channel -design-challenge and you have the option to ask for public or private feedback on your work! This should not be a competitive challenge but a fun and inclusive platform to share and learn graphic design :)

The prompt for each week can be interpreted however you wish, but it should ultimately connect back to the month’s theme. Often we will give you specific constraints with the prompt such as limited color palettes or a specific type of design that you will have to stick to. But other than that, be as creative as you want!

Our first monthly challenge will start from next week and the first prompt for March will be posted to the Graphic-Design-Challenge channel on March 6!

Our officers will be hosting office hours twice per week for the rest of the spring semester! Come to new Sid PDR on Mondays and Thursdays from 4-5pm with any design related questions 🌸
