My secret ingredient for my tea today is 🥁- dried orange peel 果皮.

Orange peel has been used as medicine for many years as it helps to fight viruses and bacteria. It is also good in treating cough, asthma, bronchitis, chest pain and colds. For me, allergy season has made my life miserable and I have a consistent cough that won’t go away. Drinking tea with dried orange peel in it helps with my voice maintenance.

Brewing my “Hello Gorgeous” tea today

Roselle is one of the ingredients in it. It is also known as Hibiscus 🌺 it has a hydration element and also could help lower blood pressure and boost liver health.

7 years ago, Joyce adopted her little sister Gladys from Hong Kong to Houston. As sisters, they fought occasionally, but they loved each other and constantly lift each other up and make each other laugh.

We decided to start our tea business as a sisterly duo because we work so well together. We compliment each other. Joyce is ambitious, Type A and a go getter while Gladys is kind and gentle, very intelligent but also detail oriented and calm.

I can’t wait to build an empire with you Gladys with our two hands to bring joy and wellness to each cup of tea we create. 🍵
