When the cookies were so good they want a repeat

Busy weekend! This was my first time trying royal icing transfers. It turns out, how ever long you think they'll take to dry, add 24 hrs... and apparently the deep freezer isn't as drying as I would have thought! But I'm happy with the end result and always grateful for another order.

This was so fun to make!!

Amaretto cake soaked in amaretto simple syrup, filled with seedless raspberry jam and topped with vanilla almond buttercream.

In case you dont know the lingo, this is two tiers - two 4" layers on three 6" layers.

I was excited to get another cookie order this week!

I think this is the busiest month of baking I've had in a while, which I'm grateful for! Here's Oliver's birthday cake, done a week early so I can move on to an order for baby shower cupcakes.
