We are excited to be part of Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Wallabout Wonderland as part of The Lay Out’s BuyBLK. ByBLK. area next weekend, Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th! Returning for a seventh time this year, the Wallabout Wonderland is one of the largest in the city with over 200 brands and artisans, with almost half coming from The Lay Out’s BuyBLK. ByBLK. marketplace initiative! The pop-up event includes popular features like the Family Corner with free children’s activities, food trucks, a free shuttle bus service to get you to and from the festivities and much more!

I had the opportunity to be a part of Holidays Market curated by the . Being in this space was such a full-circle moment for me. Back in 2020, when I launched Signs Candles, opened an opportunity for Signs to be sold . Fast forward to April 2021, Signs Candles was a founding vendor at the Sistah In Business shop in Jersey Garden Mall and sells at both locations- NJ & ATL. These ladies have opened doors to show me what is possible and continue to do so and I am forever grateful for them.

I’ll be outside & in person for mostly every weekend in December. If your in the area, stop by to take a selfie, scent test and/or shop. Can’t wait to see the fam & welcome new ones! 🕯️

When I decided to start my candle business, I did lots of research on black women owned candle companies and I was inspired —— story, her hustle, and her involvement in her community.

Last week, I visited Houston, TX for the first time and you know I had to pull up to !
