QUESTION: which of these services would be MORE beneficial:
1. DIY Credit Repair (classes,material to get started)
2. Resume/Job Service (online service/creates resume/find you a job/help you make more income)

Long time ago, I tried purchasing this building, with a 780 credit score and got denied. That company wouldn't explain to me why I didn't qualify. I then asked my husband (at the time) to give me at least half of the money to buy it so I wouldn't have to use all of mine, and he said NO. Now 2024, that building tripled!

I learned 2 valuable lessons from my story:

1. I dedicated my TIME by learning how to master the game by learning about mortgages, real estate, and financial literacy, ensuring that I will never be denied again. Even if I am, I will understand the reasons and know what steps to take to secure approval. I also realized that my deferred student loans were holding me back, and all I had to do at that time was take them out of deferment!

2. I will NEVER settle for an apathetic man, again. No one has my best interest but ME. When I started putting 100% in GOD and not a man, the sky became the limit.

I am going on a home buying journey (my 3rd home I've purchased) .. if any body want to join me.. we can go over your credit and lets get on a zoom and get this 2024 going.. GOD GOT US... Let's Go!! I got my people in place.. WHO READY!!

What are your short term goals? Do you work on them daily to accomplish them? Do you have a time frame of when you want it completed? Do you need motivational support? Stop what you doing and write them goals down for 2024. Get yourself a calendar, cut everybody off who don't support you, who are negative, and who don't bring value. Find you some people who are motivated. Stop telling everyone your plans. DON'T GIVE UP!!! Somebody needs to hear this.

There's 2 Types of Woman: One that wants to be taken CARE OF 💅🏿of AND One that will MULTIPLY what you bring to the table💪🏿 .... I don't care if it's 50k per year... some of you doing too much to please a woman who wanna be a "Bad Bitch"💃🏿 for society... create WEALTH 🏘and pass dat s**t down!

Some time ago, I tried to purchase a building for 50k in North Charleston. I didn’t have all the 50k at the time, but I had the income, the credit, and a 401k.

Low and behold, I got DENIED and couldn’t figure out why, so I asked my ex-husband to co-sign for me. He said NO. I asked him to give me 1/2 the money to buy it, he said NO.

I cried. I really wanted that property. Although I had “investors” I could have gone to, I chose not to… out of respect.

So I said f**k it.

Today, this property is worth over 1 million dollars. And the way I see these banks denying MINORITIES is mind blowing! Here comes a BLACK WOMAN trying to purchase commercial property, NAH, we’ll deny her now and save it for our own.

I learned 2 valuable lessons:

1. Never ever be with a man (or woman) who won’t help to make you better, especially when your striving to be better for your family.
- Im a builder, he wasn’t.

2. Educate yourself before making large purchases. Idc if your buying a car, a home, or starting a business.
-knowledge is power.

That’s when I started learning more than credit. I started learning about the trucking industry, podcasting, air bnbs, business credit, mortgage brokering, the auto industry, etc.

It was then when I became more knowledgeable and learned all I had to do to close on that building was to take my student loans out of deferment.

That mortgage broker chose not to tell me this. It was just that simple.

For 2024, be an ASSET not a liability in your partners life. Stop trying to be the smartest person in the room. Be with people who don’t mind sharing their knowledge and wisdom and apply it to life. Even if you think it don’t apply to you, teach someone else.

I’m far ahead of the game, and I’ll never stop til my time is up. 🙌🏾🙏🏾💪🏾
