As National Health Center Week comes to a close, we're celebrating the people who make it all possible. đź’™
For nearly 50 years, Legacy Community Health has grown from a single clinic into one of the nation's largest community health centers, serving more than 200,000 patients each year.
This week, Team Legacy came together across multiple retreats and gatherings to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the future. From School-Based Health Care teams preparing for a new school year to clinicians, medical assistants, front desk staff, and support teams gathering across our region, these moments reminded us that our greatest strength has always been our people.
Every appointment, every classroom visit, every patient interaction, and every life changed starts with a team committed to serving our communities with compassion and purpose.
Thank you to every member of Team Legacy for helping expand access to care, improve health outcomes, and create healthier futures for the patients and families we serve.
Every patient story starts with people who care. đź’™
This National Health Center Week, we're celebrating the more than 1,700 members of Team Legacy who help make healthcare accessible for our communities every day.
From physicians, nurses, and pharmacists to behavioral health providers, lab staff, medical assistants, patient navigators, front desk teams, and everyone working behind the scenes. Each person plays a role in helping patients access the care, support, and resources they need.
🎥 This reel moves fast, so don't be afraid to press pause and meet some of the incredible people who help make Legacy Community Health possible.
To Team Legacy: thank you for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to the patients and families we serve.

🎒 Back-to-school season is here, and Legacy Community Health was proud to be out in the community supporting local families!
This past weekend, Legacy teams participated in Back-to-School events across Houston and Beaumont, connecting with students and parents through health screenings, education, school supplies, and community resources.
In Houston, Legacy participated in the Plaza Américas Back-to-School Event and supported the St. Austin Center Back-to-School Fair, providing health screenings, health education, and community resources for families. In Beaumont, Legacy hosted its Annual Back-to-School Festival, offering backpacks, health screenings, medication education, and information about healthcare services available throughout the community.
These events are a great reminder that a healthy school year starts before the first day of class. 🩺
If you couldn't attend one of these events, there's still time to get your child ready for school. Legacy offers:
âś… Youth and sports physicals
âś… Immunizations and vaccines
âś… Pediatric checkups
âś… Behavioral health support
âś… Pharmacy services and more
Whether at a community event or in one of our clinics, we're here to help families start the school year healthy and ready to learn.

Heading to college? Don’t forget this essential step before move-in day. 🎓
Dorm life means close quarters—and a higher risk for infections like meningitis, flu, and whooping cough. Making sure your vaccines are up to date now can help protect your health all semester long.
