📌 Reminder for families: The deadline to choose a school through Texas Education Freedom Accounts is July 15th . There is still time to explore Meridian Academy as an option for your child’s education.

Today, Meridian Academy honors Juneteenth 🌟 a day of freedom, reflection, and hope.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a powerful reminder of resilience, justice, and the continued importance of learning from our history. As we reflect on this meaningful day, we celebrate the strength and legacy of those who came before us and look ahead with unity, purpose, and hope.

Happy Juneteenth from Meridian Academy
