I wanted to share a quick but important update regarding this social media page. As some of you may recall from my announcement in 2023, I made an exciting career transition. After having the privilege of serving as your Law Concierge and providing Fractional General Counsel services through FIELDS VAN RIJN PLLC, I accepted a new role as Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment at Valiant Integrated Services.

This page is no longer actively updated, and it will be officially dormant and sunsetted in 2026.

It's truly been an incredible journey, and I'm immensely grateful for your support and for being a part of the FIELDS VAN RIJN PLLC chapter. Thank you for your trust, your collaboration, and for making my time as your Fractional General Counsel so rewarding.

I'm very much looking forward to the exciting challenges ahead.

Dear Friends and Colleagues--I am pleased to share with you that since 2019, I have had the privilege of serving as your ‘Law Concierge’ attorney, operating my law firm Fields van Rijn PLLC - Law Concierge. It’s been an incredible experience, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the fantastic support and clients I have enjoyed working with. If you have recently had a baby or adopted a child, you should update all of your estate planning documents. You want to ensure that you have appropriately planned for your new addition, both with regard to beneficiary designations as well as care.
Additionally, the aging of your children may also trigger the need for reconsideration. When your child turns 18, he or she becomes an adult in the eyes of the law. It is wise to review decisions you made when he/she was younger and update them as appropriate.

During the last week of January, National CRNA Week recognizes Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and their commitment to patient safety.

Today, most organizations rely on models that are goal-based. That is, they rate an organization’s effectiveness based on how well it achieves its aims. However, not all organizations take the same approach or use the same model. If your organization uses a certain model, then your indicators should be derived from that model.
