For the 5th Annual International Water Safety Day, we are thrilled to announce a very special venue change — this year, we’re bringing the event to the legendary in Houston’s historic Third Ward. And Beck&Call Events + Hospitality is proud to be planning it for the second year in a row. ✨

The Blue Triangle has been a crown jewel of Houston’s Third Ward since 1919 — founded as a safe haven where women and girls of color could meet, learn, and recreate. Today it stands as a 21,474 sq ft Texas Historic Landmark, complete with a gymnasium, natatorium, meeting spaces, and more — right in the heart of Third Ward.

May 15 is International Water Safety Day, a global observance dedicated to spreading drowning awareness and educating youth on how to be safer in and around the water. We are honored to bring year five home to a venue that has always stood for community, safety, and empowerment.

This Women’s History Month, we had the opportunity to plan and support an in-store experience for at Houston Galleria—transforming a traditional shopping environment into an immersive, community-centered moment.

From concept to ex*****on, this activation was designed to:
• Drive foot traffic and in-store engagement
• Introduce new audiences through interactive experience
• Create meaningful brand connection beyond the transaction

With partners like Root & Bloom Wellness Spa, we were able to blend fitness, wellness, and retail into one cohesive activation. The Pole Experience gifted 20+ guest passes to customers.

This is the kind of work we love—thoughtfully curated experiences that not only look good, but move people and support business goals.
