Rap Or Die wasn’t just an album—it was therapy, a release, a last breath some days. I poured everything into this. Every scar, every loss, every moment I almost gave up. I came from selling lean, w**d, coke—whatever I could get my hands on—to make it out the mud. I lost damn near every best friend I ever had to gun violence or overdoses. While I was recording this album, I even overdosed myself off ecstasy pills. I didn’t know how to cope. I didn’t want to feel nothing. I wanted to push myself beyond the pain and didn’t care what happened to me.

But God had other plans. He let me survive. And somehow, I finished the album. You can hear all of that—the grief, the fight, the hurt, and the hope—in every song.

And now we hit 200,000 units sold, independently. No label. No handouts. Just me, God, and the grind. From a place where most don’t make it out, where people either end up dead or locked up, I’m proud to say I made it to 28 years old, still breathing and building something real.

And now, I’m giving y’all the Chopped & Screwed version of Rap Or Die, done by my brother DJ 2 Cup—who mixed this for the real ones. For the Screw heads. For the trunk bangers. For Houston culture. This version is for the ones who survived hell and still ride slow through the storm.
