I understand this is not related to our page, however the seriousness of the situation brings me to share in hopes it will be seen by more people.

A friend of ours has been hit with the unfathomable, they are losing their child to cancer.

The fundraiser was originally to help their daughter through treatment, but its goal is now to help upcoming funeral expenses. 💔 😞

Well we have a raccoon at the vet, he was hit by a car😢 🚨

We have raised $25 as of 4:09 pm today. Still waiting on vet to call me, I’ve called a few times for updates. Not a good day.

Update:
He has a fractured femur. 😞
Will update when we know more on the best steps to take for him to get to the appropriate rehab, we’re working on figuring all of that out and will update tomorrow, we do have a place for him and will share when he makes it to his final destination.

If you’d like to help contribute to his vet bill he is at Lucky pet in Hot springs, and he will likely eventually end up at our main vet at all creatures, just trying to get everything sorted out last minute.

We are still looking for more kennels since many of ours are depreciating.

Facebook marketplace and swap shops is kind of a nightmare full of scams or people that won’t reply back, so we are just looking to purchase some from tractor supply.

We appreciate any help SO MUCH. We know rescues ask a lot, I’m sorry 😩 but we can’t do big things without big help.

ANY help towards kennels is appreciated. Used is great as well if you know where any are we will pay for used in good condition.

We are trying to get a list of some strong 💪 people that would be willing to volunteer physical labor assistance to help us prep for winter within the next week.

If you are someone willing to help with things like moving kennels, setting up new spaces and some heavy lifting, please let us know. We have cats we’d like to build something for aswell.

We do have enough hands for the lighter things, we just really need a coupe strong, handy man type for getting some of our older kennels that are concreted in out and things like require some strength! I personally can’t do as much with my spine issues so I’m doing all I can to find some strong backs. 😃

Our newest rescue baby “Olivia” has been losing weight. We know she’s stressed being in a shelter environment and feel that may be the cause but she’s at the vet this morning to rule out anything else.

I will mention the positive first, we have good news that we now have what we need to prepare for winter, which is a huge relief for us and we are grateful 🥹
But on a serious note, one of our dogs just had surgery last week, and is now having blood in stool.
I tried to give it a little time to see if it would resolve on its own but it’s not, so another vet appointment tomorrow, just hoping it’s something minor. 🥺🙏❤️‍🩹
