Wide Open Signs

Busiest week of the year for us. Opening day is tomorrow! Brick wraps, pad wraps, concession wraps, banner hanging and signage galore. We are really thankful for all of the work we do with the Birmingham Barons, Rome Braves and the Rocket City Trash Pandas. I jokingly say there’s no such thing as a bad day at the ballpark way too often, but it’s true. Nothing beats a day at the office when it’s outside and smells and feels like baseball.

The countdown to opening day continues. 9 days. Made a quick trip to Rome Georgia and spent some time at the ballpark there. Beautiful weather today, what a contrast to the rain we had yesterday! Wrapped pads, a cooler and some concession stands.

For our today’s magic trick, we were in two places at the same time. It was a little windy but we got it done. Wonder what’s coming to The Summit? I’ll never tell. Special thanks to Tony and Bryan for braving the heights and Amanda Pritchard for running the show from the ground. Matthew Lovett pulled off the magic trick and we were able to print in the shop all day, install at The Summit and at the Barons all at the same time. Whew!

Opening day is in just over a week, see you there!

Concrete can be a tricky substrate to wrap, but with the right materials it looks great and lasts for years. With finesse and patience (and a blowtorch) it looks almost painted on. We partnered with Minor League Baseball on these wall graphics at Regions Field today, and the results were fantastic. Come to a Barons game, and check it out! Season opener is April 5th.

The Birmingham Squadron (Pelicans G League affiliate) has sent quite a few players to the NBA. We partnered together to celebrate their achievement with these walls outside the locker room. What better motivation is there than to see your goal right in front of you every time you take the court? This printable textile can be removed easily but holds up well over time, and is perfect for mid or long term wall graphics on smooth surfaces.

Spent another beautiful, maybe a little chilly, day in the outfield at Regions field in Birmingham. Time for a refresh and a little mending as the elements do take their toll on the vinyl and wood on the outfield wall. Did you know when the wood the pad companies use begins to rot, you don’t have to replace the whole thing? We can fix that and save you $$$. We have been so fortunate to work with the Barons going on 13 years! Great organization and a beautiful setting to catch a ballgame.

The Rome Emperor’s (Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) have a beautiful stadium nestled in the Appalachian foothills in Northern Georgia - I always enjoy working up here. It’s a really nice town and a fun place to work with vinyl. This is the first trip of many up here before opening day, and I couldn’t be happier to be working with such a great group of people.
