A huge loss for our community. We are forever grateful for Norm Baker.
Norm Baker passed away peacefully on December 11th 2021.
He was the backbone of AUW for more than 2 decades and we can't adequately convey just how deeply this loss affects us all. Norm's life was dedicated to service. He postponed his own retirement to transition the current CEO, John Fink, in 2020. A life-long Steelers fan, we want to believe they won just for him, this weekend. His quiet and generous nature touched lives in an outside of AUW. He will be missed terribly. AUW will name the quarterly, "Above & Beyond" Award in Norm's honor. The award recognizes perseverance, commitment, and dedication to serving the community which Norm embodied.
In lieu of flowers, Norm's family has requested donations be made to Aloha United Way in Norm's honor.
