Six years ago we signed a one page lease 🙈committing to 5 years in this space. We had dreams for what we could do in this space but had no idea the amazing journey ahead of us. We watched West Homewood grow into itself through new tenants that became friends, new sidewalks, parks and businesses and we had so much fun helping people discover the hidden magic of WeHo. We hosted over 200 events and helped you celebrate new life, new family, birthdays, weddings, business launches, anniversaries, and all of the moments in-between. Through create club you learned how to write, paint, arrange, bake, style, photograph, and create but more than anything you learned that you are free to be creative and you are creative. 2020 forced us to stop our events and we’ve been a bit in limbo for the last year figuring out what our next steps are. We had hoped our journey in this space would last a little longer but know that our path ahead, just like 5 years ago, is full of new dreams we can’t yet imagine. We walk away from this space as stronger business women, a deeper love for our community, so many new relationships made, and lessons learned. While this is our last month in the studio we will still live in the neighborhood but stay tuned for a Studio Sale at the end of the month as we clear out decor and party items. We can't wait for our October Create Club on Tuesday! Kelly Cummings is a North Carolina native that has been photographing weddings and portraits in the Birmingham area for the past decade. Kelly loves details, natural light, and candid moments. In the past Kelly has taught workshops on various aspects of photography and business including styling and instagram strategy, as well as consulting and mentoring other creatives and photographers in the community. This class will be SO helpful for individuals and small business owners looking to up their photography/instagram game :)

Brittany of Love Be Photography will be teaching a camera mechanics class tomorrow, January 3! This is our only class not on a Tuesday due to the new year. This should be perfect timing if you received a new camera for Christmas and want to learn what the heck all those buttons mean. Her tips on lighting and camera basics will help you become a pro photographer from taking the best iphone shot to the perfect photo turned wall art.
