Where is home for you?

Energy is contagious and spreads like wild fire 🔥.

If you are like me - being in a room with a negative person can absolutely drain me and put me in a funk.

Here are 3 ways I make a conscious effort to delete negativity in my life so that doesn’t happen.

1. Delete, unfriend or unfollow negative people who complain about anything and everything on social media. Don’t let their negative views infiltrate you. 🚫

2. You are the net average of the top 5 people who spend the most time around. Choose wisely. Choose other people who are optimistic. Who see the glass as half full. My inner circle is small, but mighty. 👊🏼

3. The news most often times reports despair, heartache, death and other not so positive events. I try to stay up to date with current events but limit turning on the news to 1x a week. Instead I consciously open a book and feed my mind with positivity and self growth. 💪🏼

We all know real estate can be fickle. One deal sails through to closing day and another seems to be bursting into flames 🔥 every day.

Yet, we need to continue to take a deep breath and remind ourselves every opportunity and experience we go through in life are chances to grow. 💪🏼💪🏼

Take advantage of the lesson and make note of how you can improve so that when you encounter these same hiccups - and you will - you will be prepared and ready to take it head on. 👍🏼👍🏼

Life is about taking chances and leaving your comfort zone. Now, not all of those ventures are going to be a success - there will be failure. That’s part of the process, right! There is no success without failure. But it’s not the venture that failed - if you move forward without learning how to do it better the next time - now that’s failure.
