Not the Summer Nationals we were hoping for, but there were some bright spots.

Mechanical issues held me and my mechanic for the weekend Matt Overbeck back from getting dialed in but we managed to qualify 3rd in Light and 10th in Medium. In the heat races we had pace but just not enough to slice and dice through the pack like we wanted to, lining us up 9th in Light and 19th in Medium after an unfortunate penalty cost us a ton of starting spots.

In the Light main, we sat on the grid as it stopped raining, which we thought was perfect for the kart we set up to be fast as it dried, but it never did. I started to slowly drop back but then made a mistake that ended our race. In medium we got back dialed in but after almost getting turned around on a damp track on the start and dropping back a few spots to 23rd, we charged back through the field to a 10th place finish and the fastest lap in one of the more spread out races I’ve been in.

Overall, we wanted a lot more but it was nice to see the pace we got out of it by the end of the weekend. Thank you to Matt for being on the wrenches and never giving up! Also thank you to Precision Performance Karting - Palmetto, Fl and Brandon Jarsocrak Racing for all the support and Pauly Massimino and James Overbeck for the coaching. Also thank you to Coyote Racing Chassis for bringing me the fast kart and lawsonspeedshop for the power! Can’t wait to come back at the Grands in just 2 months!

Race Week for the Cup Karts North America Summer Nationals!!!

Can’t wait to be back in the saddle of my fast #52 Precision Performance Karting - Palmetto, Fl Coyote Racing Chassis machine. It’s going to be fun trying to back up my Daytona and Spring Nationals wins on my first trip to Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati ! Back on the podium at AMR Motorplex by MG Tires 🥉

Had a fast kart all weekend long but got caught up in traffic in qualifying putting me 7th. I had a good drive up to 2nd but the outside of turn one didn’t treat me well. Fell back to 5th on the start and battling for 3rd set us apart from the leaders. Got through and made up some time but it was a bit too late to fight for a win.

Happy to be close again and can’t wait for next month. Now we have some momentum into Cup Karts North America Summer Nationals next weekend so let’s rip!

Walking home with a pole, a heat win, two p3’s after 4th of July weekend🇺🇸🦅

I had a super fast piece all weekend long and super happy for the team Precision Performance Karting - Palmetto, Fl Coyote Racing Chassis on the dominant performance but a little disappointed I couldn’t get it done in the end myself. Just makes me that much hungrier for the Summer Nats, and can’t wait to get back to foosball and other shenanigans with the crew!

Almost time to get racing on America’s’ 250th! Excited to try to get it done on American metal !
