All those ADHD and mental health educators who helped me understand myself, that's what changed my life.
I'm a designer, not a therapist. I can't do that work directly. But I can build brands for the people who do. So that the right person finds them in the right moment.

When I say brand, I don't just mean your logo. I mean your colors, your fonts, the way you show up, what you write, the vibe of everything you put out. Visuals and what's behind them.
The way to get to a brand that's really you is by understanding yourself first. Getting clear on why you do what you do, who you're serving, what lights you up, your goals, your desires, your messiest creative thoughts.
Then you take all of that and turn it into words. Clear words that sound like your brain, just in word form. Then you condense those into nouns, objects, symbols, things that represent your essence.
And from there, everything becomes visual. A mark, colors, fonts, patterns, photos. Then those visuals and those words become your graphics, your website, your content, your marketing.
And then you get to connect. Share your expertise. Help people. As yourself. Fully.
That's the whole point. And that's how I can help you.
The step that happens before any sketching, before any software opens — a list of words, and every single one connects to something real about your brand.
When the logo is done, clients can't explain how everything wthey told me ended up living in that mark. That's the goal every time.

Jumping on the Logo Archive trend that's been making the rounds among designers — just the mark, stripped back in B&W.
I added the color version because look how much personality and emotion it adds to each mark. 🤯
What I notice looking at all of these together is that they don't look corporate. They look like personal symbols, small illustrated marks with a story behind each one.... and that's intentional.
The founders I work with are real, personality-driven, often neurodivergent or building something in the emotional wellness or coaching space. Their audience is looking for someone who genuinely gets them, and a warm personal visual language builds that feeling before a word is read. A sleek tech-company mark does the opposite for this audience.
Every logo I work on goes through a full strategy session before I open any design file. Then a noun list I build from everything I know about that person — symbolic objects tied to their specific values, their personality, the people they serve. Then sketching. Then refining.
None of these are industry defaults. All of them mean something specific to the person whose brand they live in.
The reason those AI flyers all look the same isn't because the tool is bad. It's because most people are opening ChatGPT and typing 'make me a flyer for my business' and that's it. So it makes something. It just makes something generic, because generic is all it had to go on.
What I uploaded before asking for anything: my ideal client persona, my voice and tone guide, my services, my HEX color codes, and reference photos of designs that actually match my brand direction. I also told it to ask me clarifying questions before producing anything. The whole thing functioned like a brief.
If you don't have those documents yet, that's the real starting point — and that's a different conversation. But if you do have them sitting somewhere, try this before you pay someone to make your next flyer.
Have you been using Ai to make your flyers? What do you think about it?
Most businesses earn people saying "they're good" through their work.
Which is great.
But the ones whose brands have real emotion behind them earn something different — people talk about them the way you talk about someone you just HAD TO work with.
What does your brand make people feel before anyone ever reaches out? Or what do you want them to feel? Excited? Inspired? Hesitant? (I hope not 😅)

As I near the end of a current logo design...I was inspired to create this post.
And yes, strategy was done first. Strategy gives you clarity, direction, and a map to follow. It does not design the logo for you. Design is its own beast and every designer who tells you otherwise is lying.
