Advice to experienced SDR's who are looking for their next job:
You already got your first job out of college
Now the interview game is much different
You now have full-time work experience in a similar role - whether it's 6 months or 2 years
You are going to be asked about your day to day activities in your most recent SDR role
About what made you successful in the role
About specific examples of success or failures and what you learned from these experiences
What you learned from your manager and the salespeople you partnered with
Examples of how you partnered with the sales reps you were teamed with - those dynamics
Were there any conflicts among team members that you had to work through - how did this all play out and what did you learn from
The list goes on and on
Lastly -- you need to ask relevant questions to each person you are interviewing with
AND NEVER run out of questions - nothing replaces enthusiasm and inquisitiveness
Remember - you need to know as much as you can about the job, the company, the manager, so you can figure out if it's a good fit for you.
Plus - asking good questions demonstrates your ability to conduct effective discovery
TO RECRUITERS and HIRING MANAGERS
