The Highlands Ranch Half Marathon is a premier race that celebrates and promotes the beauty and uniqueness of Douglas County, while encouraging fitness and raising money to help the community. The Highlands Ranch Half Marathon combines the beauty and serenity of the Douglas County Backcountry with the charming streets and neighborhoods of a pleasant community that was quite literally once a ranch. With over 11 miles of gorgeous mountain views of the Colorado Front Range, 4 miles of groomed dirt roads through pine trees and rocky bluffs and a 1,000 foot vertical descent this half marathon is a must run for all ability levels.
