This little guy sold so fast - literally painted yesterday and sold today - but I still had to share it! Maybe I'll make a few more??

I'm excited and proud to share that 2 weeks from today I'm going to be part of the Horseshoe Market! This International Women's Day market, celebrating women-owned businesses, is a fairly new addition to their lineup. Here are the basics (I'll have more info as it gets closer):

I've been a longtime shopper at Horseshoe and always aspired to be a vendor someday, so I could not be more thrilled to be invited. Over the next couple of weeks I'm planning to create some new tiny minis that will only be available at the market, plus I will have my usual selection of originals, prints, and cards. I would love to see some familiar faces so please stop by and say hi!

Here's a photo to show a bit more of the detail. Teal is weirdly hard to photograph, so it looks more like blue in the video, and Tina had to help me color correct this photo to match what it actually looks like.

I didn't give this a title but in my head I've been calling it "Party Animal Extreme". 🎉

I normally paint pretty small, but tonight I'm starting on this monster of a painting (for me) 😅 It's 2 feet by 4 feet and is bigger than my table!

This is a commission piece which is going to be a giant replica of one of my 2023 minis. Any guesses?

(Ignore my disaster of a studio which is currently housing everything I haven't unpacked from last weekend's show plus piles of stuff to go to recycling...the joys of living and working in 840 square feet.)

It was a successful first outdoor market today! I was a little nervous about the rain and wind, but the weather held up for all but the last 30 minutes. Plus, by being outside I got a front row seat to the doggie fashion show and the live music. I've done a lot of markets but this was my favorite one so far! How to have an awesome Saturday tomorrow:

1. Relax with delicious coffee and tea at my friend Beth's new coffee shop, in LoHi.

2. Come visit me at on Tennyson St. I'll be there from 1-6pm in the parking lot. (It's my first time ever setting up outdoors, so please send me all the good weather vibes!) Don't forget to check out the other two bar hop locations - we have 30 local makers with cool stuff!

This show has been wild. Over the course of the weekend, THREE separate people came to my booth and told me they are, or are related to, a Rector. I don't think I've ever once met another Rector at a show. Is there a secret Rector compound in Highlands Ranch? Can I join? 👀

Day 2! I did a lap this morning to check out the other vendors before we open. I get FOMO at every show because I have to stay at my booth and can't shop 😂 I love seeing what other makers make!

I'm here at Eastridge Rec Center 9-4 all weekend! Come say hi and check out the other vendors too (there are some really cute earrings here...)

I also think my next purchase needs to be a big banner for when I have a wall opportunity like this 😅

We're less than a week away from the Highlands Ranch Fall Craft Show! I'll be at Eastridge Rec Center next Saturday, Sept 28th and Sunday, Sept 29th from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day. Come find me on the main gym floor!

Free admission, free parking, and a great excuse to get some holiday shopping done early...if you're like me and start thinking about these things in September. 😆
